Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) have been awarded the hosting rights for the inaugural ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Asia qualifiers, and the 6-nation event will be taking place in June 2022. The tournament will see U19 Women’s teams from Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Nepal, Thailand, Bhutan and Qatar compete for the lone qualification spot into the main draw of the World Cup, which will be hosted by Cricket South Africa in 2023
